Advice and answers from the Portfolium Team

In our emails we send to you, we include an identity footer message with your name and primary school to help you identify authentic Portfolium emails from "phishing" email messages. "Phishing" emails usually look like real ones, but they likely wouldn't have your personalized information and may also contain links that direct you to malicious sites instead of portfolium.com.

While the presence of this identity footer message alone doesn't guarantee that the email is really from Portfolium, it gives you additional assurance that the email originated from Portfolium. Most "phishing" attacks will not have this information. When in doubt, open a new browser and go directly to https://portfolium.com to check your Inbox and verify the connection request or message. If you suspect that you've received a "phishing" email impersonating Portfolium, please forward the entire email to security@portfolium.com.
