Once you have uploaded the work, you will have the ability to score it. Simply click 'Score artifact'.

At that point, the work will open in a modal to allow scoring on the right hand side.

Within the scoring modal, you have several tools to support your scoring process.

  1. When you check the 'Show performance level descriptors' box, you are able to see the description of each of the scoring levels or levels of achievement. This can be helpful if you are not familiar with the scoring rubric yet, or just need to refresh your memory. Unchecking the box will remove the descriptions.
  2. This tick box will allow you to view a section called 'My Reflections Notes'. This is a place where you can leave notes for yourself on your scoring or the artifact. Do note, these notes will only be visible to you.
  3. You will use these numbers to score the work. Simply click onto the level you would like to select for this sample and click 'Submit Score' in the lower right.
  4. 'My Reflections Notes' are visible here. This is a place where you can leave notes for yourself on your scoring or the artifact. Do note, these notes will only be visible to you.

You also have the ability to 'Tag' your artifacts using the features above your artifact (arrow above).

-With the 'File' option you can download, print or export
-With the 'View' option you can leave notes to yourself regarding the artifact. As a reminder, these are only viewable to you and for your reference.

-With 'Freehand' you can draw on the artifact and leaves tags as well.
-With 'Window' you can view the artifact differently by zooming, rotating, etc.
